In order to register a .ARCHI domain, the Registrant must meet at least one of the following criteria:

-being an individual professional architect or an architecture firm registered as a member of or as an Allied Member of the INTERNATIONAL UNION OF ARCHITECTS (UIA), http://www.uia-architectes.org/.
-being an architecture-related organization (such as schools, museums, professional media, etc.) listed on a dedicated list defined by the APAC ( i.e., Archi Policy Advisory Committee which is the supervising and regulatory body of the .ARCHIDomain) in collaboration with the UIA.

The sunrise phase is expected to start at the end of April 2014. The registry has not yet confirmed dates for general launch. When applying for a .bio domain name, the registrant must commit to the following:

“By registering a .bio domain name, the registrant commits to not undermine the Principles of Organic Agriculture as formulated by the IFOAM (POA). If the registrant is a producer, a transformer or retailer in the field of agriculture, food and farming, the registrant commits to abide by POA and by any regulations in force in the relevant markets where the registrant intends to present or promote its products within the on-line content associated with this .BIO domain name(s).”
