4. Internet Radios (name and clear variations and abbreviations and other terms in common use to describe them)
5. Radio Amateurs (unique licensed call sign identifier)
6. Radio professionals (name and clear variations and abbreviations and other terms in common use to describe them)
7. Radio related companies (name and clear variations and abbreviations and other terms in common use to describe them)
8. Landrush (applicants eligible under the above categories will be allowed to apply form names in connection with their activities, such as radio programs. Broadcasting, associated services, radio equipment, etc. )

Eligibility requirements

Nexus with the .radio community

To register and renew a .radio domain name You must be an individual or a legal entity with a nexus to the .radio community. This nexus means that you must be linked to the community at the time of registration and thereafter. Validation of said nexus will be carried out on a case by case basis by the .radio Registry Operator. Examples of a valid nexus are, among others, broadcasting livestreams, radio programs related content, individual radio professional activities, radio-related events, radio-related services or equipment provision and diffusion, and any other in which the registrant provides content for the benefit and advancement of the .radio community. Registrants are required to state the intended use for the registered domain name. A false statement of intended use is an indication of bad faith and may be the basis for the suspension of the domain name
