The expectations are high on .london and .nyc, after the successful launch of .berlin, which now has more than 45 000 registrations!

Launch plan .london
Sunrise: 29 April – 31 July 2014. Allocation of names will depend on a priority ranking. Trademark Sunrise applications (the trademark must be registered in the Trademark Clearinghouse) will come first. Then will come those with a London presence who can demonstrate rights to a name (e.g. it matches their business name). Next will come applications from Londoners for any name and finally applications from those without a presence in the city.
General launch: starts at the beginning of October 2014. Registration will be open for everybody, on a first come, first served basis.

Launch plan .nyc
Sunrise: 5 May – 20 juni 2014. To apply during this phase you need a trademark registered in the Trademark Clearinghouse AND an address in New York.
Landrush: This phase is expected to start at the beginning of August 2014 and to last for 60 days. Anybody with an address in New York can apply. The price will be slightly higher than during general launch and if there is more than one application for the same domain name, the applicants will be invited to participate in an auction.
General launch: starts at the beginning of October 2014. Registration requirements: an address in New York.
